Your audio and Reel files

Field Four uses the microphone, audio interface or Computer Audio source you select when you ask it to monitor or record. Audio is processed on your computer and saved in the Reel folder you choose.

Field Four does not upload your recordings, Reel files or exported mixes to Filmic Gaze or any other service. Uninstalling Field Four does not delete the Reels and recordings you created.

Information stored on your computer

Field Four stores the information needed to operate the recorder locally. This may include:

• Reel files and recorded Track WAV files;
• recent-Reel history;
• audio-device choices and timing-calibration results;
• application preferences; and
• small, size-limited diagnostic logs when an operation fails or the application crashes.

Diagnostic logs contain technical error information and relevant operation context. They are not transmitted automatically, and recordings and Track audio are not included in them.

Network communication

Field Four does not communicate with Filmic Gaze servers and does not include an online account, cloud storage or an in-application update service.

Microsoft may process information when you download, install or update Field Four through the Microsoft Store, under Microsoft’s own privacy terms.

The Field Four website

The Field Four website is hosted by Hostinger and delivered through Hostinger’s content-delivery infrastructure. Hostinger may process ordinary technical data, such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages and request timestamps, to deliver, cache, operate and secure the site.

The website does not require an account and does not use analytics, advertising, cross-site tracking, behavioural profiling, non-essential cookies or a contact form. If simple audience analytics are added later, this statement will be updated before they are enabled.

When you contact support

The information you choose to include will be used to answer your message and investigate the issue. Incoming messages are forwarded by ImprovMX to a Gmail mailbox, so ImprovMX and Google may process the message as part of delivering and storing it under their own privacy terms. Support correspondence is not sold or used by Filmic Gaze for advertising.

Please do not send recordings, Reel folders, exported audio or diagnostic logs unless support asks and you are comfortable sharing them.

Changes and questions

If Field Four’s handling of information changes, this statement will be updated before the changed version is released.
